The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that has smart mapping and app-based no go zones. Its 180-minute running time is impressive. It also automatically replenishes and self-empties its water tank.

1. iRobot Roomba j7+

The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's most intelligent robot vacuum to date. Its biggest breakthrough is its camera-based obstacle detection system that utilizes built-in AI to recognize objects like charging cords, shoes, and the pet waste that the majority of other robots cannot avoid (and often slough through). It's also the first robot to automatically send you a photo of any object it encounters so you can tell it to stay clear of it in the future.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use but we found it less reliable as other robotic cleaner apps. It can take a long time to download updates, and at times it's hard to determine if the update is actually functioning until you've seen it in the action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking for a robotic vacuum cleaner that does more than simply clean your floors then a hybrid is the best affordable robot vacuum choice. This category of bots typically comes with a built-in tank for water which means they can vacuum and mop your house simultaneously. The G30 Hybrid is no different, offering a capable cleaning of hard floors as well as mopping, carpets and other surfaces at a price that is affordable.
