Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

The upgrade of gear can increase its stats base and often boosts its extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements and how many random augmentations can be applied.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens permit you to reroll a purchased item, such as a weapon, armor or ring. The item is replaced with another item of the same type however with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be an efficient method of upgrading equipment. They don't maintain the original item's level, and any resources wasted aren't rewarded.

The survivors can acquire reroll tokens by a variety of means, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or buy them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute on a piece of equipment that could include increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.

Players can roll their equipment using three aspects three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage caused by melee and weapons while spell power boosts rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.

There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade item, rare and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a higher quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

The reroll marker, unlike other special tokens or markers placed on action spaces, remains on the space until the next Success is rerolled. This allows you to save upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the beginning of every Preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by pressing on them. Once they are open, they display a full description and icon of the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of money.

In the end, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This alters which blueprints the restaurant's shop offers to reroll and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons and armor, as well as accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones which increase the value of an item upgrading by increasing its stats or attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns.
