If you like to take off-road trips then the Mountain Buggy Duet is a excellent choice. It's a side by side with the slimmest footprint of any double buggy available on the market. This allows it to squeeze through doors that are narrow and on public transport and allows you to climb up and down kerbs without too much trouble. It also has a handbrake that is attached to the adjustable handlebar to provide additional security and safety.

The UPPAbaby vista 2 double is another lightweight option that can be used by twins or a toddler and a baby. The seats can be reclining in multiple positions with UPF 50plus sunshades. The iCandy Orange double buggies are one of the most sought-after available. This is due to their superb comfort. It is a true all-terrain pushchair with a soft suspension that makes easy work of bumpy surfaces. It comes with 30 different seating configurations and a built-in board for older children who like to walk and a 'cinema mode' that raises the back seats for better visibility.

Alternatively, the phil&teds dot is a fantastic single buggy that is available from day one which is then able to take 2 (or 3 wheel strollers!) Different configurations are possible. This is especially useful when you have a child in a car. The frame can be fitted to a wedgie that allows for the most optimal lying-flat position. Or car seat adapters that can be used with a wide range of brands.

Suspension

The suspension of a double 3 wheel stroller and car seat wheel buggy will determine how easy your child/children and you can push it. It is crucial to have a smooth ride since babies feel every bump in the road. This is especially the case if you're driving on rough terrain like grass or unpaved roads. Some models have locking front tires to help maneuver and get over obstacles like curbs.

Some models have tyres with air filled that are great for all-terrain rides, but they are susceptible to punctures. Make sure you have an extra set of tyres inside the trunk. Some models have gel-filled or foam-filled tyres that are designed to absorb bumps. They can be less likely to puncture, but they could cause discomfort for your child should you decide to run.
