It also has an automatic hoover mop lifting mechanism, that will raise the pad when it transitions from tile to laminate or hardwood to carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding the possibility of soaking these soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be washed and then dried with the dock and the dust bin will get emptied and automatically returned to it. You can set it and forget about it. It is only necessary to replenish the water tank or replace the dust bag occasionally.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard mop and vac-settings for about 160 minutes before it began to lose power and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't far off from the 180 minutes Roborock claims, and is on the same level with other hybrids I've tested.

It's a comprehensive, reliable product. The only issue is that it's pricey. The number of features make it an appealing choice for anyone who is looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. If you are able to justify the price we recommend you check this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium combination. Its premium price tag is justified by its powerful features, which include a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mops. It also comes with an app-enabled smart controller and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros, which is one of the most powerful robotic vacuums and mop combos available. In my tests, it performed very well across the home. It was able to remove 98.4 percent of the debris on all types of floors and managed to lift long hair without tangling. The mops also performed well, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than many mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement and a strong dose cleaning solution.

The docking station is the main selling point of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and advanced. The docking station emptys the trash bin into a bag for dirt, then refills the water tank for mopping and even dries your mop pads. It is equipped with a real-time danger detection system, and its smart controls let you schedule regular cleaning sessions.

The L10S Ultra does not offer the best performance in removing carpet debris when compared to the other hybrid mop I tried. In addition, its mops aren't as adept at removing stubborn stains as those found in the premium Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features, it requires regular maintenance. The base station must be cleaned out as well as the water and dust tanks must be emptied, cleaned and dried regularly to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. The mop pads sold separately also need to be changed periodically.

With the L10S Ultra's pricey price tag and extensive functionality, I would recommend it to anyone with the funds for it. Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you need to clean up messes and remove dirt from your hard floors. This high-powered robovac and mop combo packs an impressive suction force of 8,000 Pa and a huge battery capacity for mopping and vacuuming and top-quality obstacle-avoiding. It has a mop with a roller that cleans itself, making it stand out among other models that require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is distinct from the spinning discs and microfibre pads of other robots. The roller is almost entire width of the robot and is continuously dosed with clean, ozonated water from its dock. When it turns, the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro dumps mop water that is dirty into its base station, where it is sucked by the tank's heater elements and empty into a larger storage container. The tank that is onboard can hold a good robot vacuum amount of water and can take on up to a dozen mopping session before running out.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box as do most robotic vacuums/mops. The S1 Pro does need to be refilled with clean water. This can be accomplished in the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock in case you want to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you choose this feature however, you'll need to buy the Eufy-branded cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot brands, allowing you to choose your preferred brand of cleaning solutions.

As with most robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations. It was quick to map a area and was able to navigate around furniture. The only issue is that it got stuck a few times on carpets with longer piles and rugs during my tests however this could be improved as the software is updated. 4. Roborock Qrevo

The mopping system is capable of cleaning up a significant portion of a space before returning to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction is capable of picking up debris and pet hair from carpets.

The software that runs this appliance is fairly complex, with a broad range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually clean every area that is mapped by this device or choose individual rooms, zones that can be expanded, or a routine you've developed. There are many mopping options, including SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the sensors on the mops to find the most efficient way to clean your home as it maps the area.

The Qrevo performed well in our tests, like the other Roborock models that we've tested. Its navigation system works well, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning in a neat way. The default pathing setting does an excellent job of covering a room, with no major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too although it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect the dangers of carpets that are thick however it won't always be able to detect smaller items like rug tassels, or electrical wires.

The one glaring flaw of this device is the absence of a mop after vacuum option that could be an issue for those who are frequently vacuuming prior to cleaning with their robot. There's a simple solution: the app has an option that lets you "clean up", at the end of every vacuuming session.
