The SnugRide from Graco is a great option for most babies. It is suitable for children weighing up to 35 pounds or two years of age, which is usually the limit for infant car seats. The seat gets very excellent scores in crash tests which is not surprising. It is lightweight and has simple instructions to follow. It also ranks high in our ease-of-use rating which includes how easy it is to put on, adjust, and secure the harness.

The Graco GragRide isn't quite as effective in other areas, such as comfort and quality. The fabric feels more pliable than other infant car seats and the padding is thin overall. This is the only one that doesn't come with an insert for the head restraint of younger children. It's a pity because it could decrease the chance of injury for certain babies.
