WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades provide a guaranteed boost to certain stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an Best item upgrader by 3. Each upgrade also increases the random substatus.

The upgraded gear typically has a greater value for trade regardless of whether it has low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or very high stat variance (like the eth titan weapons). These types of gear get less value from upgrading due to the need to roll for a perfect model.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear to a higher level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied on any kind of weapon or armor. Utilizing these new currencies isn't too complicated, but the system does introduce some modifications to the upgrade process. Once a piece of gear reaches the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer), it will no longer require Flightstones. This is to allow players to upgrade their gear up to the highest level possible for all their characters instead of relying on seasonal loot.

Another important change is that crests only have one purpose, so it's important to use them wisely. It is recommended to use your Whelpling-rank crests on the highest-quality gear you can find and keep Drake and Wyrm Crests for the next set of upgrades. This is especially applicable to items like trinkets and rings that take up multiple slots. The discount on the account is only applicable when all slots on the character are filled with top-quality gear.
