WoW Upgrades - The Item Level Upgrade Upgrader

Upgrades give a guaranteed boost to specific stats. Each upgrade boosts the item level by +3. Each upgrade also increases a random substat.

The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless the item has low requirements by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a high variance in stats (like Eth Titan weapons). The latter see less value from upgrading due to the requirement to roll for a perfect model.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader enables players to upgrade their gear to a higher level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of weapon or armor. The item used to upgrade the item is discarded and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create enhancements.

You can upgrade your equipment anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To keep your gear current it is recommended that you visit the upgrader every several weeks.

Upgrades can cost more based on the level of the item level upgrade, however they'll always be less expensive than purchasing new gear. For example, upgrading a Benthic chest piece to 385 levels will cost 20 recycle points, while purchasing the same Best item upgrade from a different player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to upgrade tools, armor, weapon and accessory upgrades. They can be purchased by players from item upgraders NPCs for various currencies. They are also available on random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased, it can be used on any weapon, tool, or armor using a The button will display the item's next upgrade level in the event that there are enough materials.

The cost of upgrades varies based on the item slot and the current level of the item level upgrade and the weapon's price is higher than gloves or bracers for example. Once a piece of gear has reached the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer), it will no longer require Flightstones. This allows players to upgrade their gear to the highest possible ilvl on all of their characters rather than relying on seasonal loot.

Another significant change is that crests only have one purpose therefore it's essential to use them wisely. For instance, it's a good idea utilize all of your Whelpling rank crests on the top equipment available and save Drake and Wyrm crests to use for the next set of upgrades you're planning to create. This is particularly true for items like rings and trinkets that fill multiple slots on the character, which can only be eligible to benefit from the account-wide discount if all slots are full of high-quality gear.
